Aluminum: Light silvery reactive metal.

A note on spelling. In the USA, and countries that follow US English, the spelling is ALUMINUM. However in the UK, and countries that follow British English, the spelling is ALUMINIUM (with an extra 'I'). We use the British spelling in the cartoons, but for balance use the US spelling in the text. We hope that is not too confusing!
